Dhikala Zone is the most famous, highly demanded, and largest core tourism zone within Jim Corbett National Park. Sited in the picturesque Patil Dun valley with the Kanda Ridge in the backdrop, Dhikala is renowned for its vast grasslands ('Chaurs'), dense Sal forests, and the channels of the Ramganga River. Day visitors can only explore Dhikala via the official 16-seater Canter Safari, while night-stay guests at the legendary Dhikala Forest Rest House are permitted to take private Gypsys. It offers unparalleled tiger sighting opportunities, large herds of Asian elephants, wild leopards, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.
